Abraham Lincoln
Here's a black and gray ink wash drawing. Then I turned it to color in Photoshop. it's a quickie 1 hr drawing. It was a commission for someone.

Lincoln is a beautifully done portrait by ~funrama, based off one of my personal photographic favorites of Mr. Lincoln taken by Alexander Gardner towards the end of the Civil War in 1865. The man behind the smile is simply unforgettable and is recalled with a great affection on the day of his birth. ( Featured by `LadyLincoln )

Wow. Ink wash... Meaning, dilute and wash like watercolors? That's fascinating. Excellent composition, you've really captured the notion of his somber character, despite the fact that he's always smiling.
