Ok enough farking around, it's time to start submitting my good stuff. This is one of my favorites all time even though it dragged on for months.
This is Pula, Croatia for any Croatians out there.
ok.
i was just about to leave when i saw this.
and i thought,...'is that traditional?'
so i had to log back in and get a closer look,...
and it is! and surreal!
excellant!
i've been doing some studying up recently on surreal art,...dali mostly,...
i've got this project coming up where i've got to create some.
this is an excellant example of surreal! of course, i'm not as educated,
and am practically vacant of any experience in the category,...heh. so i can
hardly be a critic.
but it certainly seems to fit the criteria to me. plus, it looks wonderful!
not to mention the fact that those eyes are sorta freaking me out!
heh.
nice job!

Jesus loves you. Everyone else thinks you're an asshole.
This piece seems to work magic on people.
Everyone who gets to see the original up close tells me that the double eyes begin to vibrate and flip out their perception.
It's a very impressive piece of work. I can see why it would have taken ages to finnish. I particularly like the upper half of the woman's body. Her head almost looks like a flower.
I love this one. Something about it captures my interest even moreso than your other crazy works. The setting reminds me of Rome, although maybe it shouldn't. Perhaps her posture and facial expression (in the nose/mouth area) remind me of my relatives in Italy.
I'm also curious-- what is it that you prefer using acrylics for/prefer using oils for in a painting? I can't think of any reasons why you'd use them both in one painting.
not only in the original! that was exactly what happened to me when i looked at it. i love this one, it´s definately one of your best from what i saw so far.

really nice piece so many good qualitys about this, the way the water is done, the feathers on the birf and the effect that the eyes have on you when looking at this piece, is really sureal and wonderful, only thing i dont really like is the floating boat and archway to the left of her head.
It tricks your eyes, made me feel blurry vision Awesome!
I have no idea how in the world you did that piece, your in a whole differnt league then me. Its amazing!
the eyes are trippy, love the little face in the water, and the bird, very nice job, as always, but i'm not a good crit so i can't say what's bad or good >> sorry
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
